Gang Violence Leaves Elderly Homeless

Brother Jean Saint-Louis is from Mirebalais, Haiti. He was displaced by the violence of the gangs in his town. Jean Chavre’s church helped him and his wife (not pictured) rent a room. They are living by means of gifts from people because they are so old and feeble, it is hard to find work. We are looking for some sponsors to help provide $100/month for the Saint-Louis couple.

Sister Lafleur is a widow, she lived at Mirebalais as well. The day when the gangs invaded Mirebalais, they killed her husband while they tried to flee. Now she’s homeless and starving. MNM is also working to raise $100/month for Lafleur.

We want to thank each person who has given so generously in the past. We are so grateful for our donors and the work that God continues to do in Haiti despite all the hardships they face. May we remain faithful in Loving God and Loving Others, Christ’s greatest commandments.
